These software programs allow you to remove Antispyware and Antimalware.

1A. SuperAntispyware
Free Spyware Remover. Remove WinFixer, SpyAxe, Movieland, SpyFalcon. Free Spyware Scanner. (KBID=116)

1B. MalwareBytes
Malwarebytes is a site dedicated to fighting malware. Malwarebytes has developed a variety of tools that can identify and remove malicious software from your computer. (KBID=117)

1C. AVG Rescue CD
The AVG Rescue CD is a bootable, Linux-based malicious software removal tool. Use it to clean an infected computer that cannot be cleaned using traditional Windows-based removal tools. Includes additional tools for registry editing, data backup and hard drive testing. Download the ISO image and burn onto a CD. (KBID=189)

1D. Spyware Blaster
Spyware Blaster prevents the installation of spyware and other potentially unwanted software.

1E. Bootable Antivirus Rescue CD from BitDefender
The BitDefender Rescue CD is an ISO file which contains a built-in operating system and antivirus software. Use it to remove malware that cannot be removed using traditional Windows tools. The ISO file must be burned onto a blank CD prior to use. (KBID=187)

 

2. AntiVirus

These antivirus programs allow you to remove most of the most common virus problems.

2A. Free AVG 8.0 AntiVirus
AVG Free provides you with basic antivirus protection for Windows. (KBID=148)

2B. AVIRA
Protects your computer against dangerous viruses, worms, Trojans and costly dialers. (KBID=149)

2C. AVAST AntiVirus
Complete protection against viruses and malware with built-in anti-spyware detection. (KBID=171)

2D. Microsoft Security Essentials
Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection for your home PC that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. (KBID=186)

 

3. Malware Removal

Malware is a software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent.

3A. XoftSpySE
For removal of smitfraud variants. (KBID=119)

3B. Combofix
For removal of a number of malwares. (KBID=120)

3C. HijackThis
For manual removal of malware. (KBID=121)

3D. VundoFix
For manual removal of vundo (WinFixer, Amaena, WinAntiVirus, ErrorSafe, SystemDoctor and DriveCleaner. (KBID=122)

3E. SDFix
For manual removal of Trojans and worms. Must be logged on as admin in safe mode to work properly. If still not working, refer to this page for info. (KBID=123)

 

4. Online Scanners

These are free online antivirus/antispyware scanners that you can use without having to download any software.

4A. TrendMicro Housecall
HouseCall is a free online virus scanner offered by Trend Micro, which checks whether a computer has been infected by viruses, spyware, or other malware. (KBID=124)

4B. ESet Scanner
The ESet Online Scanner is a free virus scan. A user-friendly, powerful tool, this online antivirus utility can remove malware, viruses, spyware, adware, worms, trojans, and more from any PC utilizing only a web browser. (KBID=125)

 

5. AntiVirus Program Removal Tools

These tools allow you to remove virus programs installations from your computer.

5A. Norton Removal Tool (SYMNRT)
The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003 products from your computer. (KBID=126)

5B. McAfee Removal Tool (MCPR)
The McAfee Removal Tool uninstalls all McAfee 2005, 2006, 2007 products form your computer. (KBID=127)

5C. AVG Removal Tool
AVG Remover utility removes all parts of AVG installation on your computer, including registry items, installation and user files, etc. (KBID=128)

 

6. Hardware Tests

Software that tests Hard Drives and Memory for issues.

6A. Gwscan
This software performs a test to detect if there are any problems with your Hard Drive. (KBID=129)

6B. Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics
Western Digital HDD test. Like Gwscan, but runs in Windows. (KBID=131)

7A. Windows Update Online
Software that allows you to download the Microsoft Windows Updates for your Microsoft Operating System. (KBID=132)

7B. Windows XP SP2 Installer
Windows XP Service Pack 2 Installation File. (KBID=133)

7C. Windows XP SP3 Installer
Windows XP Service Pack 3 Installation File. (KBID=134)

7D. Windows Vista SP1 Installer
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Installation File. (KBID=135)

7E. Internet Explorer 7 Installer
Internet Explorer 7 Installation File. (KBID=136)

7F. Revo Uninstaller
Revo Uninstaller is a freeware uninstaller, which you can use to uninstall programs and scan after uninstall for leftover registry keys, files and folders. (KBID=137)

7G. SafeMSI
SafeMSI allows you to start the Windows Install Service in Safe Mode. Good for uninstalling MSI based applications that result in failing to boot Windows correctly. (KBID=172)

7H. Reset Registry Permissions
Used to fix "Access Denied" errors installing Service Packs and updates (XP only). Extract, run MSI file, then run CMD file. (KBID=138)

7I. RunOnce Remover
Removes the "Welcome to IE7" on first run. (KBID=139)

7J. IE6 Reset Tool
Resets IE6 somewhat like hitting "Reset" in IE7. (KBID=140)

8A. Adobe Flash Uninstaller
Helps to remove Adobe Flash from your computer. (KBID=141)

8B. Free ISO Recorder
It is a tool (power toy) for Windows XP, 2003 and Windows Vista, that allows (depending on the Windows version) to burn CD and DVD images (DVD support is only available on Windows Vista), copy disks, make images of the existing data CDs and DVDs and create ISO images from a content of a disk folder. 8C. nLight Slipstreaming Tool

8D. LSP Fix
It is a free Windows utility to repair a loss of Internet access associated with certain types of software. (KBID=144)

8H. WinPatrol To Go
WinPatrol To Go is a portable version of the popular WinPatrol program. Use this program to analyze what is installed and running on any Windows system.

8I. Recuva Deleted File Recovery
Recuva assists in recovering deleted files that cannot be recovered through the recycle bin. (KBID=185)
