Choppy music playback with Windows Media PlayerMS 2000: Audio and video do not match when playing video and choppy audio on music CD's. Had him run Cleanup and Defrag drive which he will do after running Housecall. Advised to run on all of his drives. Has not defragged in a long time. Was under the impression that defragging was bad for the drive. Windows media player choppy playback... download and install K-Lite codec pack full version. Defrag and cleanup. Re-download and install Media Player. ---OK Windows XP, HP, factory cd drive is not reading. Ran Microsoft Autoplay Repair Wizard. Did not repair properly but did find a problem. Reset autoplay settings to default in CD/DVD ROM properties. Tried to force cd detection in Windows Media Player, no detection. Customer complains of slow computer. Excess files may be causing issues, helping customer optimize. Run CCleanup. Removed software that was not in use WildTangent, Norton (trial is over and she has AVG).
